There are many professionals such as scientists, physicians, parents, and others who are speaking out, writing petitions, and doing whatever they can to prevent more threats to health and freedom in our society.
One example is retired neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock who is also a clinical nutritionist, author of many books, and a biology professor at Belhaven College. He says that the added sugars in foods can contribute to violent behavior, alcoholism, poor grades, and other problems. He has written many books and provides a monthly health newsletter called The Blaylock Wellness Report and has a lecture recorded on DVD called Nutrition and Behavior.
Dr. Russell Blaylock says "Among other effects, hypoglycemia causes the brain to secrete glutamate in levels that can cause agitation, depression, anger, anxiety, panic attacks and an increase in suicide risk.
